Terms of Service

By purchasing from or using SuziBee Designs by Black Eyed Susan Photography, Inc. (“SuziBee Designs,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), you agree to the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before placing an order or using our products.

1. License & Permitted Use

  • Completed designs are provided for the personal use or agreed business purposes of the purchaser.
  • Customers may print, display, and share their completed designs for their intended purpose.
  • Customers may not resell, redistribute commercially, or claim SuziBee Designs’ original artwork or layouts as their own.
  • Purchase of a completed design does not transfer ownership of the underlying templates, design elements, or editable source files.
  • Any additional commercial usage or reproduction rights must be agreed upon in writing.

2. Design Services & File Formats

  • All projects are created and personalized by SuziBee Designs using professional design software.
  • Completed designs are provided as high-resolution digital files in the format specified for the purchased product or service.
  • Layered Photoshop files, Illustrator files, and other editable source files are not included with purchases.
  • Customization options are limited to those described in the selected product or purchased upgrade.

3. Product Types

  • Already Designed Projects: Personalized with your submitted photographs, names, and text using an existing design. Changes to fonts, colors, or layouts are not included unless a qualifying paid upgrade is purchased. Delivered as high-resolution JPG files unless otherwise specified.
  • Custom Projects: Individually designed layouts or substantial modifications to existing designs, based on the purchased service. Delivered as high-resolution JPG files unless otherwise specified.

Please note: You are paying for our creative services and design time. Original designs and editable source files remain the property of SuziBee Designs unless otherwise agreed in writing. We do not claim ownership of third-party graphic elements used within a project.

4. Image Copyright

  • All photographs submitted to us must be owned by you or used with written permission/license from the photographer.

  • By sending images, you confirm you hold full rights to use them.

  • SuziBee Designs is not liable for unauthorized use of copyrighted material by purchasers. You are solely responsible for ensuring compliance.

5. Proofing & Proofreading

    • SuziBee Designs does not provide professional proofreading services.
    • Text is reproduced as submitted by the customer. Customers are responsible for checking names, spelling, punctuation, dates, and all other submitted information.
    • Customers are responsible for carefully reviewing and approving their proofs before finalization.
    • Standard designs include one proof with text corrections only. Eligible upgraded designs include up to three total proofs. Fully custom-designed projects include unlimited proofs within the agreed project scope.
    • Additional revisions or changes outside the purchased service may incur additional charges.
    • SuziBee Designs is not responsible for errors or omissions in customer-supplied content that the customer has approved. Errors introduced by SuziBee Designs will be corrected at no additional charge.

6. Color & Printing

      • Colors may vary between monitors and printers; exact matches are not guaranteed.

      • We are not responsible for printing errors, including misalignment, trim, bleeds, or color differences.

      • If bleed is required, it must be requested with your order.

7. Delivery & Completed Projects

      • SuziBee Designs creates and delivers finished digital design files. Editable source files are not included.
      • Completed projects are delivered electronically to the customer or designated school, organization, or other recipient, as specified in the order.
      • Delivery schedules depend on the project requirements, submission deadlines, and timely receipt of customer materials and proof approvals.
      • Customers are encouraged to retain copies of their completed files. SuziBee Designs does not guarantee indefinite storage or replacement of previously delivered projects.

8. Fonts & Images

      • Editable font files and licensed typefaces are not provided with completed designs.

      • Example images displayed in our product listings are the exclusive property of Black Eyed Susan Photography, Inc. and are not included with purchases.

9. Intellectual Property

      • All content on www.suzibee.com, including templates, graphics, text, and product examples, is the property of SuziBee Designs by Black Eyed Susan Photography, Inc. or its licensors. Unauthorized use is strictly prohibited.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

      • All products and services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free files, or compatibility with all systems.

11. Limitation of Liability

      • To the fullest extent permitted by law, SuziBee Designs shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use our products, including lost profits, data loss, or business interruption.

12. Changes to Terms

      • We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Updates will be posted on this page, and your continued use of our services indicates acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Unexpected Incapacity or Business Interruption

      • In the unlikely event that the owner of SuziBee Designs becomes unable to fulfill an order due to death, illness, injury, incapacity, or other extraordinary circumstances beyond the company’s reasonable control, SuziBee Designs reserves the right to cancel any affected, uncompleted work.
      • Any payments received directly by SuziBee Designs for canceled, unfulfilled work will be refunded in full. Upon issuance of the applicable refund, SuziBee Designs’ obligation to complete and deliver the canceled work will terminate to the extent permitted by applicable law.
      • SuziBee Designs will make reasonable efforts to notify affected customers and coordinate with any applicable school, organization, or other contracting party to minimize disruption. Nothing in this provision limits customers’ rights under applicable law.
